Mellem is a macOS application that provides guided meditation sessions designed to fit into gaps in your workday. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms.
You need an account to use Mellem. You can sign in with Google or a magic link sent to your email. You're responsible for keeping your account secure and for any activity that happens under it.
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
New accounts include a 14-day free trial with full access to all features. No payment details are required to start a trial. When your trial ends, you'll need an active subscription to continue using guided meditations.
Mellem offers monthly and annual subscription plans. All payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise recurring charges at the interval you selected.
A subscription gives you access to:
Mellem can optionally connect to your Google Calendar with read-only access. This is used solely to time meditation suggestions around your meetings. You can connect or disconnect your calendar at any time. See our privacy policy for details on how calendar data is handled.
Mellem can detect whether your microphone is in use to avoid interrupting you during calls. No audio is recorded, captured, or transmitted. The app only checks whether the microphone is active or inactive. See our privacy policy for more detail.
Please use Mellem as intended. You agree not to:
Mellem, including its meditation content, recordings, interface design, and branding, is owned by Mellem. Your subscription grants you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app. It does not transfer any ownership rights.
We aim to keep Mellem running smoothly, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted access. The app depends on third-party services (Google Calendar, Stripe, Supabase) that may occasionally experience downtime. We're not liable for interruptions caused by factors outside our control.
Mellem is a wellness tool, not a medical service. It is not a substitute for professional mental health care. We provide the app "as is" and make no guarantees about specific outcomes from using it.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mellem's total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the app is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You can stop using Mellem at any time by cancelling your subscription and signing out. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, with notice where practical.
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll notify you through the app or by email. Continued use of Mellem after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
